City that Stops for One Minute Every Year

Each year the city of Warsaw, Poland stops everything for one minute on August 1st to pay tribute to the fallen heroes who lost their lives in the Warsaw Uprising during Nazi occupation in 1944. Over 200,000 lives were lost in the battle and the capital was destroyed. Here’s a short video of this tribute.
