Christ the redeemer in Rio de Janeiro was constructed between 1922 and 1931. The statue, which is the largest Art Deco statue in the world and the 5th largest statue of Jesus in the world, has become the symbol of Rio de Janeiro. Below are series of photos taken during the statue’s construction.
