The fastest legged robot in the world goes by the name Cheetah, the animal from which its mobility is modeled after. By studying how a cheetah flexes its back while running, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) managed to produce this robot that can run up to 18 miles an hour. The previous record of 13.1 mph was set in 1989. We congratulate Cheetah and his team for breaking the record!
