Finding the Locations of Famous Album Cover Shots in New York City

Most of the locations where album cover shots take place are not quite so obvious as the Beatles’ Abbey Road album cover shot. Bob Egan has made it his business to track down and document on his blog places where famous album cover shots were taken while they still exist. His first find was Neil Young’s “After The Gold Rush” album, and since then he’s either tracked down himself or found out about 13 more locations. How many have you been to without realizing the connection?
