Lego Colosseum Made of 200,000 Bricks

LEGO guru Ryan McNaught has built a monster size realistic model of the Roman Colosseum. Half of the model depicts how the Colosseum was in its heyday (around 80 AD), and the other half represents how the monument appears today. Tho model with it’s over 200,000 pieces was built for the University of Sydney. The model will be on display at the Nicholson Museum in Melbourne until January 2013. McNaught commented that building the structure, specially, making an oval shape out of square bricks “was the most technically challenging thing I’ve ever built.”
