The question here is if one should consider this project art or vandalism. The creators of this “Painting Reality,” a group of artists known as IEPE, surely have their opinion on the matter. For this project they needed 500 liters of eco-friendly paint and 2,000 cars. Using specially equipped bicycles they drove the paint in from four directions to the Rosenthaler Platz, Berlin. After dropping the paint on the street, the cars did the rest. The bikers disappeared into the city before the “polizei” could arrive, only to find that the paint trail had gotten more and more blurry. Do you consider this act art or vandalism?
