Two photographers, Sheldon Neill and Colin Delehanty, who met on the social media video sharing website, vimeo, decided to capture the natural beauty of Yosemite National Park using time-lapse photography. After several trips to the park, they had captured enough to accomplish their goal. The scenes they photographed are very traditional, and classically composed, much like the photographs of the legendary Ansel Adams; however, the picture “live” through the dramatic, modern, time-lapse effect. You’ll see the sun and moon rise and fall, the stars run across the night sky and the wind and clouds race across the valley making shadows, and contrast-rich scenes.
