The epic battle spanning the course of several days between an elderly fisherman named Santiago and an unrelenting marlin, the two principal characters in Ernest Hemingway’s final work of fiction, “The Old Man and the Sea,” is artfully illustrated in this stop-motion film by German art student Marcel Schindler.
